Vancouver motorcycles seen around town

A lot of nice bikes getting worked on a our local garage this weekend.

My favourite was this '70's KZ400 with classic Firestone rubber and black rims.

Here's a early '70's CB350 with under 10k miles and a seized motor. Hadn't been ridden for over 30 years.

 Jaimie's Yamaha 250 2-Stroke class winner
More vintage bikes
Jill's immaculate CB350
 James' custom 1970 HD
Nik's '81 CB750 (currently for sale)
rows and rows of classic & vintage metal
 a beautiful powder blue CB350
 Spotless vintage Honda
 nice Honda twin
 A nice custom CX500 (I think).
A crazy custom "what-the-hell-is-it?" I've never before seen a rear disc brake which is also the chain sprocket. And glass head covers.
The entrance to the show was like red carpet at the Oscars.
 nicely done Yamaha
Not sure what this was except it was cool and unique.

Rising Sun - Open House June 1st

Rising Sun Motorcycles opened up their new shop on Franklin Street in Vancouver, BC recently, so they celebrated by hosting an Open House for all their customers. At least a hundred bikes and scooters attended. Here's some of the bikes....here's a nice, local, lady-ridden CB175
 CB350 four café'd
Not sure what make this bike is but it was sweet.
Motor Teresa Bike Transport Co. truck and a load.
There were some nice customs at the open house.

A database of motorcycles and their riders, in Vancouver Canada

This mostly-original 1975 Honda CB360 was purchased in Lethbridge Alberta brand new by George K. It spent most of its life there and made its way to the West Coast in 2004 but spent 10 years in storage. Finally in 2014, it was put back on the road where it belongs. Now owned by John (George's nephew) and has only 7000 miles on the odometer.
